Stimulus Control for Making Math Verbal

In two experiments, we used multiple probe designs to first examine the correlation between presence of transformation stimulus function (TSF) across math operants and TSF saying writing for spelling, then tested effects establishment words on operants. Eight middle school students with learning disabilities participated in Experiment 1. Four participants demonstrated spelling. The dependent variables 1 were accuracy rate solving word problems after receiving fluency training facts, number counting strategies when problems. Results showed that all who significant increases whereas three without did not. Three subsequently 2, which All increased extinction strategies. results experiments suggested importance teaching as a verbal behavior, particular, speaker-as-own-listener behavior.
